Lessons built around you – not a fixed curriculum

Your voice, your lessons

No two voices are the same – so no two lessons are either. Whether you’re singing for the very first time or coming back to a voice you haven’t used in years, we start with where you are now and where you want to get to, then build a plan around you rather than a one-size-fits-all syllabus.

We always work on healthy, sustainable technique first – breath, support, freeing up your range without strain – because that’s the foundation everything else stands on. From there we move into the parts that turn a good voice into a confident one: tone, phrasing, expression, stage presence, and the confidence to actually use your voice the way you’ve always wanted to.

Above all, lessons are a supportive, pressure-free space. You don’t need to already be “good” to start – you just need to want to sing. We’ll go at the pace that suits you, and you’ll feel yourself improving as we go.

What a lesson looks like

  • In person or online – Lessons run either face to face, or online from wherever you are. Online lessons are just as personal and just as effective.
  • Your first lesson – No audition, no pressure. We’ll talk through what you want from your singing, listen to where your voice is now, and start straight away. You’ll leave the first session already having worked on something.
  • How progress works – Lessons are [30 / 45 / 60] minutes, usually [weekly]. We set goals you can feel yourself reaching, and adjust them as you grow.
  • All ages and stages – From young beginners to adult returners and gigging performers, every lesson is pitched to suit the person in the room.

Who it’s for

  • Complete beginners who’ve always wanted to sing but never taken the leap.
  • Returners coming back to a voice they haven’t properly used in a while.
  • Performers and gigging singers after more power, control or stage confidence.
  • Exam, audition and competition students working towards something specific.
  • Children and young singers, in a fun and encouraging environment. [DBS checked.]
  • Anyone who finds lessons daunting – including neurodivergent and SEN students, who are genuinely welcome and supported here.

I’m Lauren – a vocal coach and professional performer based in Lutterworth, working with students across Warwickshire and Leicestershire, with experience performing for audiences around the world. Helping singers discover what their voice can really do is genuinely my favourite thing.

That performing background shapes how I teach. Having sung on all kinds of stages, I know first-hand what it takes to deliver under pressure – and I bring that practical, real-world insight into every lesson, so what you learn holds up in the moments that count, not just in the practice room.

I work with everyone from nervous first-timers to experienced singers refining their craft, and I care as much about how you feel as how you sound. Whatever brought you here, my job is to help you feel confident, capable and completely at home in your own voice.

I trained with the London College of Music and hold a Diploma in Musical Theatre. I am Enhanced DBS Certified and have experience working with leading examination boards including LCME, Trinity and Rockschool.
